    Another week in the Green Zone. I’m making a deliberate effort to focus on being in the zone rather than the specific number. For clarity, though, with a goal weight of 180 my weekly results starting in May were 175.8, 178.2, 173.8, 173.4, and 175.0. My fourteen day daily average went from 175.1 at the end of April to 174.0 at the end of May. Not a bad place to be for the month, since I don’t want to wander below 170#.

    NSV's this month? Two recent ones.

    First, I bought a shirt I liked, and wore it for the day. I thought I looked pretty good. When I looked at the tag later, it said “Trim Fit”. And it DID fit, with no pulling at the buttons when I sat down.

    Second, I was eating out and had a problem keeping my paper napkin in my lap. I realized there’s no “me” to pinch it between and hold it in place when I sit down!

    Not every choice has been ideal, but I’ve been able to hone my tracking a bit further. I’ve been doing a better job at “smaller disasters, happening less often, and recovering faster.” That’s success, right there. 😊

    Down 1.2# ... I'm at 191.5, down 3.4# since the first of the year. I'm motivated to get into the 180s at my next weigh-in. It's been a while since I crossed a "decade."

    Up 4.8 lbs this week. Back to my old eat too much self and the wrong things to. On to another week. No use beating myself up. Hopefully there's always tomorrow.

    Hey Friday Weighers!

    Popping in just to be accountable. I was traveling last week, so I didn't get to weigh on Friday. I was at my college reunion. All things considered, I did pretty well. I drank more than I originally planned but really watched the mindless snacking that I'm capable of at events like this. I popped on the scale this morning and was up .6 from last week. My ankle are still swollen from flying, so who knows what the real weight is. The main thing is, I'm ready to get back to working my plan today.
