Endurance cycling, what food to take

Hello all, I was on keto for eighteen months and lost a considerable amount of fat. I found it quite easy. That was until I got back into cycling after a good few years layoff. As my miles increased the harder it was to stay on keto. I never found a good food source to take with me. I stopped and went back to eating carbs. My weight increased and I gained around 25 pounds. I want to try keto again, but could do with ideas for food to take with me. My short rides are 100k 62.5 miles and long ones 300k 186.5 miles. Anything under 100k and I can manage with just my normal food for the day without taking any snacks as long as the route is not too hilly. Ideas gratefully received. Marty

I just heard about a product on a podcast I listen to. It’s called a “keto brick”. Sounds like a clean keto meal replacement bar that might work.

Hello. I'm far from that athletic but when we do a long walk up the local walking trails I generally like to pack things like jerky with no sugar added, cured meats (pepperoni mostly) and hard cheeses (Asiago or Pecorino Romano), a mix of nuts/seeds/dried berries with no sugar added. They usually keep for a few hours, though I'm guessing you probably might need something with far more calories to get through such a long ride. But hope that helps.
