I think I'm stuck in a rut of doing that much cardio to be honest, I do enjoy doing abit of running just because I could never run so I like to see my distance improving but also because I'm quiet sedentary outside the gym I feel like I need to see these calorie burns in the gym , I do hold a fear that I will regain the weight I have lost

I have read up about cortisol prohibiting fat loss and I know I have elevated cortisol so my worry is I'm causing more damage than good , I'm borderline underweight for my height yet still have stubborn belly fat that ain't budging
I am trying my best with strength training but finding progression slow because lack of strength gains

Struggling to find a balance between strength training , cardio and calories!

At this stage my main goal is body recomp if at all possible

So open to your suggestions ? I don't trust trainers in my gym their still in the whole women will get bulky from lifting heavy weights mind frame haha !!

    Thanking u :flowerforyou:

Looking at this rationally, if you are underweight and still losing weight at your current level of intake+activity, and if your goal is to stop losing weight and recomp, I would conclude that you either need to increase food intake, decrease activity, or a combination of both. As of now we are slowly increasing your intake. <---- EDITED

I think you could easily afford to reduce the cardio as well. Can you start by dropping 1 session and NOT INCREASING the duration or intensity of your other sessions?

Yep so say according to my HRM I'm burning 3500 calories through cardio on a weekly basis (I know these aren't accurate) but I get pretty much same calorie burns on a weekly basis
Ill knock that down to 3000 max that will eliminate one cardio session this week anyway and make sure I don't go harder on intensity or duration

Does that sound like a reasonable approach ?

    Seems reasonable.
