Very exhausted & emotionally drained
And of course a gain this week but i eas higher at the start of the week so I consider this going down4 -
@lacatgirl Your post went through fine, it is a few messages up. And yes, this is where you post your weigh in. If we marked your post with 'insightful' that means we have recordered it on the spreadsheet.
Great Thank you for the clarification!1 -
Hi everyone! Figured I’d check in since I’m not weighing in for a few weeks. The move to Miami is going according to schedule. New furniture arrived, Missouri boxes came on Tuesday, we shipped one car which arrived yesterday. I think my car automatically knows how to get to Target by now lol. I’m exhausted, but seeing progress. Doing my best to make good food choices. Avoiding fast food. Miami has so many options for healthy eating!! Here is a pic of my husband and I from one of our terraces. It’s incredibly beautiful here❤️

Good morning Shape Shifters. It was still very windy, but no rain so I went for my walk. It was a lot warmer than I expected and I wish I had left my bodywarmer at my bike. Walk was fine, not much to see and pretty quiet people wise. I made my wraps for lunch/dinner. Of course the big wraps I wanted were sold out so I had to grab a smaller size. Very annoying because the recipe I made was based on the big ones and the smaller ones are just more of a pain to eat. But whatever. I don't think I will do this again because it was a lot of effort. I did enjoy the food, but I think I would enjoy an extra chocolate croissant just as much. My fitbit gave me 1651 extra calories yesterday which put me in the green with 459 calories left to eat. Yeah right! I would have fallen off my scale this morning if it showed a loss (it didn't).
The hedgehogs didn't find the food in the new basket. I tidied it up some more and put a layer of hay at the bottom. I also made a little food trail for them to follow to the basket to help them out. I got a picture of the mom and a baby that I will put in the spoiler. I try not to disturb them, so they were taken from inside my house through a window. The mom isn't very big as hedgehogs go and the baby is about half her size. They were sitting somewhat in the same spot in the pictures, so you can see the size difference. Happy Thursday everyone

Here’s my weekly weigh-in report:
Name: PatriceFitnessPal
PW: 139.5
CW: 139.3
SW: 168
LtD: 28.7
My goal weight is 125, and I would like to maintain my weight between 120-130. I’m not quite 5’4” tall so my goal is to sustain my weight within the middle range of a healthy BMI for my height. Right now, I’m at the high end, close to the overweight range. I hope everyone is doing well.5 -
@nancyinmo - Great picture. Beautiful view of Miami. Congratulations on your move!2

Short steps yesterday - spent some time in church for funeral and then luncheon -- I was there until after 3PM it was cloudy, exhausted so I didn't go for a walk3 -
@Pupowl : SQUeeeeeeeee!! They're so cute, they're different then I imagined, I've only seen one once at a pet shop a long time ago. Does it get very cold where you live in the winter time? Looks like wild strawberries around them? Beautiful!
@nancyinmo - Miami looks amazing. Blue skies, warm temps and energy. Looks like an amazing place to live.

Thursday steps 4070.
Haven't felt the best. Lots of joint pains. Rained last here and more possibly coming. And then I helped with changeover yesterday for about 5 to 6 hours so feeling drained on top of it. So, a lot of quick easy household chores.3 -
@nancyinmo Love the beautiful picture...glad to hear your move is going well. What a grand adventure for this next chapter of your life!! CONGRATS!

I'm really happy that I've been losing weight lately. Just shows that plain old counting calories works. My weight always seems to stop coming off when I try to just estimate what I'm eating.
I've been working on my running and meeting my goal of running 100 miles this month. I am at 55 right now, so a little behind but I should still be able to do it if I push myself the rest of the month.
I love that you posted this! “ Just shows that plain old counting calories works.” This was a great reminder and incentive to me! Thank you!!2 -
@Pupowl love the hedgehog pictures! You are so lucky that you get to catch glimpses of those cuties!
@PatriceFitnessPal you are so close to your goal range!! Great job maintains your weight loss!
@nancyinmo beautiful view! So glad you’re happy with the move!
@LaurieWrobo I’m sorry for your family’s loss 😞 I hope you were able to get some good sleep and recharge after such an emotional day!4 -
Every ounce of weight loss counts!
Every bit of exercise you do counts!
Every little substitution you do counts!
Don’t minimize any work you’re putting into this journey!
Don’t forget to record because all those bites and tastes can add up too 😉

@Itadakimasu7 Out winters are usually pretty mild, though it isn't the temperature that gets them in trouble. Hedgehogs don't prepare a food storage when they hibernate, so if the winter is very long, they have to wake up and look for food. Which of course isn't readily available in the dead of winter. Here they hibernate from around November until April. The moms will wait to hibernate until they are sure the babies are fat enough to survive, so they can really use the help now. This is likely her second nest of the year and these babies have a lot less time to get enough fat.
Edit: Those are mock strawberries. They grow everywhere in the backyard!3
