Happy Friday everyone! I’m happy to say this is the first time since pre-COVID that I’m under (just barely) 140lbs. Officially about 15 lbs more to lose so I’m feeling pretty good about it. Have a good weekend!

That is a strong start to the month! Welcome to the team @andja87 & @sydditt! For half a second, I thought maybe this time I made a legit most of award. And the I realized all my calculations were on the wrong rows...and my hopes were dashed.
We exceeded a quarter million steps this week...2 million for the month seems like good goal.

Is anyone else feeling like this?
My WNM weigh-in is in a few hours and I'm not looking forward to the reality of it.
I've lost my way. Is it because winter is coming and, naturally, my body is preparing? Is it because of the change in seasons and, especially this year, it's later than usual? Is because I'm just a lazy so-and-so?
I know that my workload has increased over the past 5-6 weeks. Perhaps that's a major factor. I know that I've slumped since my holiday, which also contributes to my inactivity. I know that I'm craving sweeter snacks, is that a 'winter is coming' thing, most probably? Do like it? No!!! Can I change it? Yes!!! But, I still need you guys for support and I need my inner mojo to make sure that I go for it.

Me too - except it’s lasted longer than the winter. 😭 (For me, it was perimenopause, and it’s been 2-3 years!) Good luck! Hope you get your mojo back soon.1

I’m trying to get back on track after the previous week’s gain. Thankfully I avoided fast food temptations this week. Im trying to work on drinking more water. I had been doing well with my water intake for a while and then I don’t know why I just lost motivation. I’m going to keep working at it. Never give up!

Today’s a bit of a sad day for me. Today would have been my son Alexander’s 38th birthday. He died almost four years ago, eleven days after his birthday.
He was a very special young man, extremely intelligent, and very much liked by everyone who crossed paths with him and had the joy of getting to know him. He tried all he could to battle the cancer that eventually took his life.
Just wanted to share and thought if I put it out there, then maybe it would make me feel a little better ‘talking about him’. My husband is away this weekend, so I’m home alone. Have been filling the day with purging clothing and shoes and cleaning the house.
Miss you my son… 💙

Good Morning my friends... So thank you all for your suggestions as to the upper body workouts!! In meantime, this last week has flown by - and I am still trying to understand that we're already halfway done with October!! In meantime, logging my food has since been easier, I've been trying new recipes, and for now being super conscious as to my calorie count. I've also started making sure to weigh/measure most everything I eat. I know a lot of people aren't always agreeable to this, especially since it takes time and effort. I've also started with the meal prepping - so that way I don't have to "wonder" what I am going to eat - or if I get lazy there's no mad dash for fast food. I actually went out to eat this weekend - and was mindful of what I ate and the portion sizing... I forget how restaurants' portion sizes are sooo out of whack!! I do hope to get some small walks in this week... moving slow but still moving..
