    Well worked for almost 2 hr doing various yard work tasks didnโ€™t even know the vest was there comfort wise. The weight was good perhaps a walk with it today unless the rain comes back in.

    Managed a peloton outdoor walk between rain drops. Rucking vest worked well nice snug fit could feel a better cardio workout

    Iโ€™ve been smiling ear to ear at your updates! Lots of walking this Walktober! Maddie, Iโ€™m so glad you have an orthotic! I got an ankle foot orthotic (AFO) several months ago and itโ€™s helped my walking and my confidence a lot. Iโ€™m less likely to trip and fall. Not sure if you have an AFO or another orthotic, but Iโ€™m so happy to hear that you can walk more!

    @77tes, love the story about your ballroom dance leader. Staying active certainly is a key to aging well!

    I have also been walking more this month and have enjoyed walks in my backyard as fall unfolds. Fall in New England is just lovelyโ€ฆhereโ€™s my view:

    What gorgeous autumn photos, @themedalist! Iโ€™ve always wanted to see that. Thereโ€™s not much to see in L.A. in the fall. After we retired the first time, my husband and I took a car trip to New England to enjoy the fall foliage. Unfortunately, we arrived to find pouring rain, so the leaves had all been knocked down. We did however, get to see the changing aspens in Colorado.

    Improving my steps for sure.
    Step count today in the 8,000โ€™s. Best since Aug 18th!! And many uphills & downhills in the mountains

    Foot still hurt a couple of times but Iโ€™m optimistic that it will heal.

    The scale was the highest today since April 30 2018
    5 years & 5 months ago.
    I tracked my food today. That and the hike were my two goals for today.

    I am reminding myself that my life is precious & unique (as is everyoneโ€™s) because I think that will help me to improve my habits to where they were for so long.

    Nice walk at lunch seemed good a little cool at times but in January that 48 degree temp will feel like a heatwave!

    Have started October back slow and steady after some significant health issues. Feeling so much better now, and hope that things continue to improve. ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป I have my treadmill set up and it is a good option for me as the terrain is predictable.

    I havenโ€™t used so many rest days in a long time. I have been doing yoga and other exercises on the days when my walking isnโ€™t the main activity. For right now, I will accept that when a rest day is taken, it is a positive sign that I have listened to my body and taken care of myself. ๐Ÿฅฐ

    Day off errands and spending time with my parents their 61st anniversary and then maybe a walk when I get home if not some spinning or weight/core work. Weekend plans? Itโ€™s called dodge the raindrops maybe a good book to curl up with.

    Well no walk but resistance band work this evening. Helped hubby take the battery out of the Spyder and cover it up for the winter snow predicted for the higher elevations tomorrow. A good day and already started some of a book.

    Week 3 of October average steps were 8,767 so that means Iโ€™m below my step goal. However, I biked 5 days this week for a total of 17.7 miles, so thatโ€™s good.

    19. Thursday- 4.5 miles on bike ๐Ÿšด and 8,961 steps ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ
    20. Friday - 4.7 miles on the bike ๐Ÿšด and 9901 steps ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ
    21. Saturday - 1.5 on the bike ๐Ÿšด and 6,909 steps ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ

    Got a quick walk in rain and snow predicted later today I know I should have worn gloves! The weighted vest is nice good comfortable fit 8 lb good for now maybe Santa will bring a heavier one.

    Managed 3.2mph.

    Work outs good on weekend but 2 pass days had! Had visitors stay the night and it threw me out.. Need to focus on pretracking daily.. weekends and weekdays.. also really trying to add variety to workouts to give knees a break from jogging and lastly trying to establish a night time movement activity with bub.. I did it last night.. took him to the park amd felt so rewarding. Xo
