I’m dealing with a family medical crisis (grown daughter diagnosed with cancer), so I’m spending a lot of time in medical offices. Still, I know it’s important to keep healthy myself so I can care for her. It’s nice that that spin bike is available for a quick exercise session whenever it fits.

    22. Sunday - 6,930 steps 🚶‍♀️
    23. Monday - 2 miles on bike 🚴 and 7,666 steps 🚶‍♀️
    24. Tuesday- 10,017 steps 🚶‍♀️

@77tes I am so sorry that your daughter is going through this and for the stress it brings to your life. Well done keeping up your walking and biking — they will keep you healthy to help her and help to manage your own stress. Thinking of you and your family. 💛

    Thanks for the kind thoughts.

    25. Wednesday - 5.1 miles on bike 🚴 and 9,988 steps 🚶‍♀️
    26. Thursday - 2.7 miles on bike 🚴 and 10,052 steps 🚶‍♀️

@77tes, after I completed this post I saw your post about your daughter having been diagnosed with cancer... I am very sorry to read that. I will keep your daughter, you and your family in prayer 💖.

I completely forgot to log into MFP during October, or to post here. I have been still dealing with the leftovers of my Covid brain fog, but it seems to be lifting more, finally!

On the upside of things, I only had 3 days in October that were below my personal minimum number of walking steps I work towards, as noted on the little step counter clipped on my pocket/ belt that I have been using this year. (I do not use it on Sundays). I am trying to regain my strength and stamina back. It has been a rough year, but autumn is my favorite season of the year so I hope to continue to take advantage of that and keep improving.

I've only walked inside because of the hot days we continued to have. After the many months of triple or near triple degree temps without rainfall it finally rained the last several days, and the temps have dropped considerably. They have bounced between the 40s & 80s with the rainy days! Because of that a few bushes have suddenly burst into bloom again and the squirrels are chasing each other looking for all the acorns that have been falling off the oak tree in the back yard!! Watching the squirrels have definitely helped lift my spirits! For some reason it is a larger number of acorns this year!

I hope to be back here more regularly again and participate during November.

Later on I will read through the October posts when I am able. If not I will see you in November!
