After trying to lose weight and regaining for the last 60 years, I can truly say many diets work, but only temporarily. The only way I finally have begun to keep the weight off, that I lose, is by faithfully marking down EVERYTHING I eat and drink, and by weighing and measuring everything. It really keeps you on track and it really shows that the portion sizes we eat are larger than what we think.
