Started a new job. Water weight gain galore! WTF?

It's a pretty active job. I'm doing replenishment for Michael's Craft store. For five hours, I'm walking around the store putting things on shelves, picking up boxes that can be a bit heavy, putting them down, pulling U-boats with a crapload of merch on them. I'm on my feet the whole time. I put on the pedometer portion of my HRM from the time I leave the house to walk to work and turn it off when I've walked back home. According to it, I burn from 300-500 calories a work day. I haven't been able to work out like normal. So yea, I would expect the scale to be moving down, NOT UP! I know it's water weight, but it's not going away! I'm still doing keto and even increased my calories to 1600 because of the increase in activity and usually eat about 1700 so I net AT LEAST 1200 a day. Throughout my shift and on the way home, I drink a lot of water. I have about 14-16 cups a day.
So yea, has this happened to anyone else? Am I doomed?

Hmmm, not sure if this helps, but I do know that when I run I always, always, always gain water weight. Every single time. So I'd say it's just from the activity.0

Probably hydration issues. When I'm dehydrated I gain water weight.0

Another idea. Any sore muscles? Sore muscles retain water.

The only body part that hurts out of everything are my feet, but yesterday I was struggling to get items off shelves, so my calves are sore. But today I woke up at 155, after being 158 yesterday. Either a broken scale or I'm going nuts. lol0 -
You probably need to drink more water, it might sound counter-intuitive, but your body is holding onto all that water for a reason, you might need to get more fluids in you.0
