    It has been snowing and I was working from home yesterday so only went out for a short walk to the shops. I did carry two heavy bags home but that was about all regarding exercise and waking. I didn't eat all that much during the day but had lasagna and ½ a garlic baguette for dinner and then had red wine, crispy snack things and jelly sweets in the evening.

    Thank goodness for telework. Friday, I managed to actually get 5k steps in, mostly because my husband came downstairs and forced me to go for a walk with him! When I telework I can sleep in a half hour later, get a 20 min spin in, shower and still be at my computer on time.

    Last night we went out for a nice dinner and had a bottle of red wine. Oh my aching head this morning! I’ve practically stopped drinking during the week. I drink really dry reds, but even they’ve started tasting too sweet and cloying. I love going wine tasting, and sharing a glass with my husband and friends. I guess I really don’t need the empty carbs right now, but I still feel a little sad.
