Bigger Breakfast

In an attempt to rein in some free range snacking I’m experimenting with a slightly bigger breakfast.
60 grams oatmeal to 70 grams. 15 grams egg protein to 20. Adds about 55 cals. Posting this to remind myself to pay attention. I’ll post again in about a week about how its going. Yes I’ve been “snacking” before lunch.

I eat a bigger breakfast than I did previously. I also have allowed myself to eat breakfast later. That pushes my need to eat lunch until later, which ripples through the afternoon to dinner. For me, that is a good thing. I still have problems in the evenings.

Hmm - I’ll be curious to see the result, but I’m more curious about what drives pre-lunch snacking. For me, it’s evening snacking associated with boredom and habit.
(I also don’t consider it an issue; it’s just part of how I roll, and I think it does me more good than harm.)0 -

You didn't mention how many total calories you're eating for breakfast.
My total (which I've talked about before, is about 510-25 calories. Usually takes care until lunch, but occasionally I still need a snack @ 2hrs. later.0 -
No changes in breakfast for me, but I will be curious how this works out for you. My "danger time" for snacking tends to be between 3 and 5 in the afternoon, if this works out for you I may experiment with a slightly larger lunch to see if that keeps me away from late afternoon snacks before dinner.0
