So I've read through a lot of all your information, and 1 question I don't understand. When doing a reset to your TDEE do you just take the leap for the 8 weeks then reduce to the 15%, or do you slowly add to your daily calorie goal to get to your TDEE reset number? Thanks! Also if anyone has room for a extra friend I could use some in the EM2WL.

Hi and welcome!
If you are doing a reset, it is up to you, how you want to proceed.
Some people like to jump straight to the TDEE calories. Others are increasing slowly. It is entirely up to you. Whatever you feel more comfortable with is ok.
I tried my cut number first, but I did not lose, so after two weeks of that I jumped up to TDEE. But as I said, it is your choice

Feel free to add me as well...
Personally, I climbed up to TDEE slowly by adding about 100 calories a day each week until I finally got there. (I was feeling bloated and uncomfortable, and that seemed to minimize those symptoms...) It definitely prolongs the process doing it that way, but for me it was easier (both physically and mentally!) I also did not end up gaining any weight through the process - not sure if that slower increase was why or not...
It really is up to the individual - do whatever makes you most comfortable. Once I wrapped my head around the idea that this whole thing was not going to be a fast journey, I was content with just taking my time and enjoying the whole process :-)0
