Switching to a Acid-Watchers Diet and still trying to lose weight

I've been on my AWD for about five weeks and it was such a shock to my system, I'm down a good 12-13 pounds. However, now that I started tracking on MFP, and that the weight loss has slowed, I realize not only do I need to monitor acidic foods, but I do need to also keep sugar, fat, and other things in check. So, I'm also trying to stick to 1500 calories.
Managing all the things is tough so I know that tracking is key. I also think writing down how I'm feeling when I wake up is a good way to see if I'm on track.
Things that are helping me is working with a trainer, tracking, stopping all eating/drinking at 7:30 pm, elevating my bed (total game changer), reducing dairy/replacing with oatmilk as oatmilk and non dairy foods actually help reduce acid, eating smaller meals, and the big one, NO MORE BOOZE (SIGH!). I hope to be able to enjoy wine and a cocktail again, but for now, no can do.
What are you doing to help reduce acid and still get to your goal weight?
