Dn 1.2 lbs this week. I did try a little. I'm really going to concentrate before Christmas day gets here. I'd like to enjoy that day and feel guilty with a head start on the new year.
WTG! @Al_Howard great week.1 -
Not a lot of news here in southern NH. I weighed in this at studio Thursday 0.2# below what I weighed the Wednesday morning before Thanksgiving, so that’s one in the Green column.
I was somewhat looking forward to my annual “wellness check” on Monday, which I guess is a small NSV itself - but my doctor called in sick! I don’t believe I’ve had that happen before. It’s rescheduled for the 12th. Blood work is good, with one ongoing anomaly to discuss.
We hired a good landscaping firm in 2018 to handle the trees and shrubs as part of retirement, but I officially terminated the relationship last month. He did good work, but simply wasn’t coming around, so next spring I’ll try to find someone else. In the meantime, my accomplishment this week was trimming the flowering crab tree outside our front windows. It had gotten to 14’ tall by 12’ wide and obscured the daylight. I took it back to 10’ x 8’ and shaped it, which was probably more radical trimming than he would have approved - but I’m pleased with it. It was quite a workout and I paid for it the next day, but glad I did it.
And in an NSV of a different sort, over the prior four years at goal and the most recent year at goal, I gradually wore out the collars in some of my size M shirts - so I replaced nine shirts with new ones this week. Oddly enough, it’s hard to get men’s casual shirts in a stripe, so most of them transitioned from a stripe to a pattern of some sort - plaids, checks, etc. I guess styles changed while I wasn’t shopping. 🤷🏻♂️1 -

Get solid colors, or get some semi-custom shirts. Not much more then OTR and fit so much better.
