Small bites vs. Full meals

I prefer snacking throughout the day. However, I don't always have time to do so. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Dessert (I may split my dessert up into a couple of servings, after portioned out). Typically are the bases of my meal plan. I do find time to exercise, however I feel that stress and different environmental factors are preventing my weight loss.
Do you guys have any hacks on how to create more positive environmental settings for a good weight loss routine that doesn't lead to depression?
