@Dean: So glad your surgery is over and you have no more pain. I can only imagine what you must have been feeling since August.Sound like my first half of this year with my messed up shoulder. So now the hard part, where you need to be a good patient so you heal properly.
Jan. 24: 5 miles walking in drizzle.

First night at work post surgery. It was an adventure figuring out how to do things without one foot. 🤪. Even figuring out how to get into the bathrooms was an adventure. They are tiny bathrooms build in the 1970s. Crutches required. Scooters won’t fit. The poor techs. Bless their hearts. They had to pick up even the big dogs and put them on the counter for exams. I can’t get down on the floor like I used to. 😢0

@sufferlandrian - I can't even imagine. A less essential person would stay home. I know those pets and their owners appreciate you!0 -

Too much using the foot. It swelled up. I had to cut the splint and wrap it again. I’ll have to get back in to the surgeon this week and have it splinted again.1

@Dean: I am sure you are between a rock and a hard place, but please go easy. Or you are going to delay your healing time,. I did that after my last surgery and nearly retired early because of it. My job was one that required Mr to be on my feet all day as a physical education teacher in an elementary school.
