More tips and tricks needed

Hey all,
I (44F- peri-menopausal, 60lbs overweight) have been dealing with GERD for a number of years. Mostly it has been controlled well enough, but starting around the beginning of december it got BAD. So I got GOOD. I cut out even my decaf coffee and tea, all carbonated beverages, onion, garlic, spicy food, tomatoes (I'm Italian, this one hurts my soul), chocolate, vinegar (like in salad dressings), fatty food, sugary food, and I haven't eaten citrus in years.
My bed is tilted (8 inches). My meals are small. I've done 14 days of nexium.
The only thing I'm working on still is the weight loss, and the eating 3 hours before bed. I get so hungry.
Things are not getting better.
So I'm looking for more tips and tricks.
