Today's Topic: To blip, or not?
Okay, our weight changes - so how do you decide if it’s:
- a blip, which needs no response, or,
- a problem that needs action?

As I am a daily weigher, I look at trends. 4-5 days in a row, it's a trend that needs looking at (especially if UP).0

My zones are the official guide, but if my daily weight wanders into Yellow I start to pull back.0

I am also a daily weigher, and so I, too, wait for a few days before I worry too much about things.
Though, if I'm being really honest with myself, I don't actually make too many "acute" changes. I think that I need to hit rock-bottom, so to speak, and feel like I'm failing before I muster the motivation to do much about it.
As an example, lately I've been floating at the top of my weight-range, and have occasionally gotten above my official WW goal. That's a huge red flag for me. So, I've decided to cut out the weekday snacks and alcohol. In theory, that's what I should be doing anyway, but I just haven't had that much motivation to do anything about my weight in a serious manner until now.2
