I'm thrilled to report that I met my goal of losing weight while on vacation. I'm down 2.2 pounds since my last weigh-in two weeks ago. This was a beach vacation versus our typical vacations that include a lot of walking, so I'm especially proud. Due to extremely swollen ankles for most of the trip, my activity was nearly non-existent. I was mindful every day without being obsessive. I slept well.
We traveled with family, and it was actually more stressful than I expected - - too many different desires/schedules and frequent grumpiness. I'm pretty laid-back, and even I wanted more of a schedule for departures, dinners, etc. I drank more than I planned but less than I would have liked to a few days. 😁
I'm feeling refreshed and ready to have a healthy week.2 -

I'm up 1 pound. I had been doing great in terms of sticking to my plan, until we took Mrs. 0mania out for her birthday to a place that had a two-drink minimum. Back to the plan now.

It was a good week, with an official weigh-in pretty much dead center in the Green Zone. I’m trying to spend a little more time there, and perhaps see a little less volatility in my daily weigh-ins.
I’m taking a page from @lee.less (formerly known as LeeIsLess' on GoaD) comment last week about getting off the floor without using your hands as a measure of fitness. I’m not expecting to get there, but I’m consciously trying to minimize the use of my hands when I get up from doing sit-ups. There’s an opportunity there, I think.0
