Today's Topic: I'm going to piggy back off Charlie's Weather Topic on Monday and bring up Grocery Shelves Supplies during this unusual January.
Have you noticed any of your favorite foods missing on any Grocery shelves? during this crazy weather season of 2024?
Have you had do any substituting or change any routines because of any supply issues?

We've noticed a strange supply sine wave also. A lot of frozen goods spotty, at best. Frozen veggies and fruit have really been bad. Had to buy much more expensive strawberries and blueberries.
Also stuff in the household lane. Scrubbies, hand size sponges, various plastic baggies, etc..

On the whole, I've not noticed any real issues. But, it also depends on the store. Actually, now that I think about it, Aldi seems to have some frozen veggie issues. However, other stores in the area are having no problem at all - including Trader Joe's, which is a sister store to Aldi.

Hmm - not that I’ve noticed. My Fiber Ine is back, as are my bbq Pop Chips. There are occasional gaps in things when I shop, but I attribute that to stores simply running leaner rather than on problems.

Kosher food availability can be very episodic. There was recently a shortage of kosher chicken, so my wife was running around from store-to-store to find some since that's our primary protein.

I ate GoLean cereal as my primary/only breakfast food for many years. Over the past couple of years, its availability has also become very episodic.

    Yet, we survive! ;-)
