@GrandmaJackie: Nice Photos! Where were they taken?
Feb. 22:m4.65 miles We squeezed some walking in between all the rain. Lots of indoor training for my pup.

@GrandmaJackie - Love the photos! Thanks for posting them.
@Clepant - I can't believe that eye is still swollen! That's taking a lot longer to resolve than I would have expected. I can't imagine having blurred vision for that long. I really hope it gets better soon.
12 more days to my next appointment. The last four have been murder. I'm really grateful for knee scooters and my iWalk 3.0. I've been able to cook for the kids when the wife was gone and do surgery when at work.

I forgot to mention that @LOVEMYALEX hit her GOAL yesterday!! And @GRANDMAJACKIE joins her in the GOAL ZONE today!! Congrats to both of you!!!
@DEAN - That's the same crutch I had! It took a little getting used to, but eventually I got comfortable getting around on it. I only wiped out on the sidewalk once after I thought I knew what I was doing and started moving too fast.
Have a great weekend everybody! The month is winding down though so get your miles in while you can! We're looking at some more unseasonably warm temps here in Minnesota early next week. Like 60*F on Tuesday. That will really feel nice!

@sufferlandrian, your welcome
@clepant Crescent Bar Campground, Quincy, Washington State. My son lives 20 mins away, 👏0 -
@Dean: My eyelid swelling is gone. Yes! I just had blurred vision in the eye. I think the warm compressions seem to make it worse. So I reduced the times I do it and it has improved. All meds are finished, another yes, and praise the Lord!
On a side note, I don’t think my knee would survive me being in your device. Hats off to you and Dave for wearing that.
Feb. 23: 6.3 miles today hiking and walking

Sometimes animals heal in spite of us. Sometimes they heal because of us. Sometimes no matter how much we try, there is nothing we can do to keep them from crossing to the other side. My heart goes out to those who have lost their pets after terrific battles and to the technicians who bear the burden of trying so hard and expending so much emotion to try to keep those pets alive. I hope the reunion of the pets and owners seems like a blink of an eye to the pets that have passed. I hope the owners can take solace in the memories of the happy days they were able to have.1

I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend.1 -
@Dean: so well said. I have been a long time supporter of a nonprofit animal medical advocacy in Huntington, WV. Some of their animals come to the emergency hospital in my area. I have watched animals with hopeless odds survive and those that seem to fly through surgeries and treatments only to suddenly pass away. I guess that is the same for humans. And you are so right about the techs. I watched three techs come in with tears to say goodbye to my Finny. I could tell how personal it was to them. Even when I stopped back to bring cookies, some of them came out to me to tell me how much they missed hem and how he stole their heart. Kuddos to all of you fro the work you do.
