    Weigh In Day: Wednesday (sorry a day late)
    PW (Previous Weight): 192.4 lbs
    CW (Current Weight): 192.6 lbs

    Sick kids, insanity at work, up coming work trip, still food prepping lunches and trying to eat healthy, so I am glad things are staying about the same.

    Kind of TMI, but if you eat something then throw up 15-20 minutes later at least 5-7 times, but it's all liquid, do you still count those calories for the day, or are you pretty much back at zero?

    @CassieGetsFit2013 - Are you feeling better? I know the last time I had an upset stomach, I made a point of tracking all my food, even if I spat it back up. I wanted to know, not how many calories I consumed, but what didn't sit right with my stomach.

    @melaniedscott ugh! Our washing machine stopped spinning and we're hand washing until we get a new washer-dryer machine. As the broken one belongs to the landlord, we are deciding on the best option. I say we order what we want, have them take the old one when they deliver it (I think it's an EU requirement) and whenever we move, get a cheap second hand one to leave in the flat (the broken one was old when we moved in and that was 9 years ago). Until we decide, it's scrubber's fingers for me 😀 Extra exercise though!!!

    All good today 💚

    Every one of my students from today asked to change our meeting to tomorrow or Friday. I spent ages emailing, waiting, sorting, changing, back and forth, for the best part of the morning. It's a pain in the neck sometimes. So, tomorrow, I'm working from 9 till 3.30 without a break, then it's a 2 hour Wineglish session. I hope I can go for a walk afterwards. Maybe one or two of them will want to have Walklish and it won't all be grammar and vocabulary (I'm an English teacher and they get to use the language whatever way suits them, eg walk+English or wine+English). Of course, with such a day ahead of me, it's now 1 am and I can't sleep 😴

    Here's some pics from my walk in the park this afternoon. At least, I got to do that.

    ~ STEPS CHALLENGE RESULTS ~
    February Week 2

    Team Statistics
    Total Steps: 422,953
    Participants: 8
    Average Steps per Person: 52,869 (1.68% lower than last week)

    The Leaderboard

    @Emilienewme - 101,868 total | 11,514 average Most Steps in One Day
    @andja87 - 84,796 total | 15,716 average
    @ljdanny - 54,881 total | 6,716 average
    @daria0919 - 49,878 total | 6,646 average
    @sydditt - 44,600 total | 7,817 average
    @BodyTalking - 43,528 total | 6,244 average
    @9Harvey - 27,396 total | 4,054 average Most Consistent
    @melaniedscott - 16,006 total | 2,287 average

    WHAT!?! Our leaderboard has really changed things up for last week. Bolded steppers made their goal. On the past week, we've had snow and 75° F temps (23.889 in C). Wild.

    Bolded steppers met their goal this week. If you have a goal and I'm not counting you, let me know what your goal is! A big shout out to our highest stepper this week, who, in one day, broke 30,000 steps! That's pretty amazing. Pretty sure that would take me... More than 5 solid hours to achieve. That's more than a 24K! And a shoutout to @BodyTalking, whose steps this week were less than 200 steps different than the previous week. We have a most consistent throughout the week award but that is impressive across weeks, too.

    Woot! Way to walk, steppers!

    To those who are not currently part of the step team, it's super easy to join and a great way to be more involved with the group if you're looking for something else to hold you accountable. Joining merely involves posting your weekly steps (Sunday - Saturday) either day-by-day or a weekly total. Those posting the weekly totals are not eligible for the Most Steps or Most Consistent awards, but will still be included on the leaderboard.

    What goal do we want to set for February? @BodyTalking talked a little about old (but good) goals...anyone else?

    @melaniedscott - I wonder if everyone on the step challenge team can handle doing 500 steps above their average each week, just a small little boost, 0.2 miles or so. It's always the little things that add up, ya know?

    Wow! I can't believe that I made the board this week. I think that's a first for me. Trying to stay consistent with my activity while hauling my mother-in-law to dr appointments this month. Her medicare part b is effective now. So, I'm trying to get her health on track which also includes an appointment with cardiologist next week. This is my why! In 30 years, I do not want to have all these problems. I want to be able to move and enjoy life.

    That pesky owl in me!

    Today turned out to not be so bad. I got 4 lesson cancellations, 3 of which are paid cancellations, and 1 was the Wineglish, so I didn't drink wine nor did I eat the cheese and ham that often accompanies our wine.

    I walked a bit, shopped a bit, exercised a bit and will listen to an audio book now that I'm in bed. I've got an early start and must try to get a bit more sleep.

    Sweet dreams everyone 😴

    Weigh in day Friday

    Previous weight 189.8 lbs ( 86.0 kg)
    Current weight 188.5 lbs ( 85.5 kg)

    A small loss but going in the right direction this week 😃

    It was my birthday and I struggled to stay away from the chocolates I received but I tried to balance it all
    As part of the weekly challenge I wanted to get more variety in my exercise. So I went for a 5k run with my friend on Sunday 🏃‍♀️ (with walk because I am not great at talking and running at the same time) did yoga on Monday 🧘‍♀️, ice skating on Tuesday ⛸️, taekwondo with my son on Wednesday (mostly sparring so great cardio this week) 🥋, walk (around the top of the ice rink while my daughter was training) 🚶‍♀️

    @melaniedscott I was so pleased with that 30000 steps, it was a personal best (since I have my watch) I had never done that much before

    Have a great week all

    Mm-hmm!
    I expect a heavier weigh-in tomorrow morning. Sorry! On the other hand, I've had a pretty good week (and Friday night), and have made progress in exercise and overall activity levels. That's a win in my books!
