 Hi team! Coming on a bit early as I didn’t come on yesterday. The Easter Baskets for kids went great and the seed swap was a lot of fun. For the farm and garden club portion of yesterday at the library a 15-year-old who grows giant pumpkins did a talk, he loves robotics too so it was pretty fascinating (he has a fertilizer watering system called the Fertilizer Injector). I brought home too many seeds but I left about 100 packs. I talked to someone who brought asparagus plants to share and some woman walked off with 15 plants, I was so surprised I didn't say anything but I really wanted a couple. I went to my neighbor’s for a drink last night but was so tired I only stayed for a short time. I ended up eating too many pretzels last night, gotta go back to not having snacks in the house. I’m planning on cleaning and homework today and maybe some seed starting and possibly dinner at my next-door neighbor's house. Have a great Sunday!

 @Katmary71- I planted asparagus in my garden a couple years ago. They grew back last year. I'm hoping they come up this year too. I have friends that go asparagus and mushroom hunting. I enjoy hunting for morels. We find them on our property after rain and a few 60 degree days.

            Hello ladies and gents! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been on. Tho ha have been so busy lately and I notice I do t get on here as much as when things are slower. It’s spring break now around here and I took the week off. Heading on a couple day trip a few hours away. Hubby just finished his 2nd bout of Covid and both kids have colds amd sore throats. Im the only one not sick (yet) but I find when I am really busy, my body doesn’t stop for sick. So now that its holidays, I’ll likely catch something
 I have been absolutely horrible lately and not tracking a thing. I feel ashamed of my gain. Being on a trip there will be lots of eating out, but I’ll try to make some healthy choices. Wish me luck for the next week.
 Reading over past posts, sorry for those who are mourning the loss of a loved one. Hugs to all of you!3

 @sleepygirl79 I’m letting you do this once and that’s it, I’m sorry but it takes me extra time on here when I have to stop to close everything which is the weigh in spreadsheet, the word document I'm using to reply to everyone, and this group window and go report people not weighing in the captain’s thread (this IS the difference between me staying on as captain as I’m in this group for up to 90 minutes a day plus doing weigh ins alone especially on weekends when more people weigh in. I don’t have more time to give here.) and having a bad week or not feeling like it with an entire team weighing in really isn’t fair to us as captains. I’m sympathetic you had a bad week and get not wanting to but I went through this recently with another member and if I let it go it’s not fair to her and other team members. Next time you can use your last weigh-in, just weigh in, or be penalized for not weighing in going forward. Have fun on the trips and do good this week, you got this!

 Hi team, been cleaning all day and have the tub ready so this is a fast one. Got in a good workout, made the skinnytaste black bean sweet potato bowl for dinner, and got some homework done so it’s been a good day. I got into pretzels last night and did not stop at one serving darnit. I’m starting some more seeds after the tub and hoping to read a bit before bed as I've had no time to do it lately. Have a great Sunday night and wonderful Monday, let’s go into the new week strong!

 I am still sick, but my throat feels a little better. I came in to work because I have payroll and other necessities that have to get done. I was hoping my boss would tell me to leave after I finished, but alas...nope. He just said he was steering clear of me because he leaves on vacation on Wednesday.
 To those of you that I send random cards to, I just got caught up with my family Easter cards. I'll get working on the ones for all y'all, but they might be a tad late. But HOLY WEEK are they ever GORGEOUS! Yes, I'm tooting my own horn 
 I hope everyone is able to stick to their plans today. I brought such a random assortment of food to work today... salad, steamed potato, rice, spinach, some of the soup Hunter made me on Friday. But I think I'll make a cup of oatmeal first. Oh - and I'm on day 93 of no soda. When should I stop counting?

 Good morning! Well, yesterday was a bust! After I wrote to you all that we were going to church, Joe went into the bathroom and passed out. Actually, it was amazing because he had been holding onto the door jab for dear life and had managed to call my name. I had to get him to the floor because he wasn’t alert enough to walk, and then I made him crawl to the bedroom. After that, he was pretty much useless the rest of the day, so we just stayed home so he could rest. He is better today, and with his family coming this weekend, he better stay that way!  Not a great eating weekend.
 Can't say I'm not a little bit disappointed that I didn't chart with my loss from last week, but I understand how ratios work and why.
 I was really hoping to keep my weight loss slower even than that because I worry I'm already getting a little bit of dysmorphia regarding my body image/weight as it concerns my effort in the gym and at eating. It's weird, and I don't like it.
 I'll keep on trucking through, just having weird feelings.3

            I have to admit I had to reread the post that @Katmary71 made. I reread it a few times. With that said I agree. If your having a bad day, days or week you need to share the weigh in. Believe it or not there is an encouragement there. Others that are struggling may see that they're not alone in the struggle. Or they may be able to give the encouragement you need. That is the whole point of these groups. It's to encourage each other in the UPS and DOWNS.
 I know personally I've posted 10 pound gains before. At one time it was gain 5 lose 4 gain 10 lose 2 gain 10. So many were there throwing positivity my way. The same can and will happen to you if and when the weigh in is posted.

 I am sorry to have let the team down this week. Last week (spring break stuff) got away from me. Ah, well, Back at it! With @19shmoo69's great post right above me, here I am posting an in-the-red weigh-in. As he says, this is a long game!
 On the plus side, I went trail riding on Saturday. I had not been on a horse in years, and it was delightful, even with a horse that I had never met before! I could only do it because I have been at work with the group and met the weight limit for the available horse. So woohoo for that!
 We went riding in the blackland prairie of central Texas, an area that was the continental coastline 250 million years ago. It still feels like coastline there. Geology is amazing! Also flora and fauna. @micaroo4 -- I saw my first cardinal of the year! 🐦
 So-- back to work! Here's today's plan:

            @trooworld Oh no the speeches sound awful! You looked absolutely stunning I love all of it you look beautiful and stylish! Hm I got some pretty columbine flowers, those are probably my favorite from the swap. I bet getting back home after that drive and laying on the couch felt amazing! I’m glad you got some good dancing in too.

 @TeresaW2024 Funny my neighbor asked why I hadn’t said anything to the woman who took all the plants. She’s very outspoken and of course when I think of things later I wish I’d said something. Oh no thank goodness Joe wasn’t hurt! I’m so glad today is going better for him, that must’ve scared the heck out of you. I’m curious to check out the rebounder video will you please post it?
 @ninyagwa Hugs to you, I wish you’d charted too. I think your being aware of weird feelings says a lot and as long as you know the difference between being at a point where there’s caution vs needing help is important. If you can deal with it through journaling or talking about it with others or possibly with a counselor it can help you grow and get stronger. Losing slower is helping you adjust to the changes if I’m reading correctly, right?
 @19shmoo69 I think this is a good point about support and you’ve always been great about posting your weigh ins. That’s one area all of us can understand in this group so we aren’t alone. Teresa was so nice to me one time when I’d gained and felt like I’d let everyone down if she hadn’t been so awesome I would’ve quit the group that night.
 @AustinRuadhain LOL it’s like Darren posted support for you to come with your gain right?! This group is one of the many ways I realized I wasn’t alone with a lot of what I go through. Trail riding sounds awesome, I’m glad you were able to go how fun! Great planning for today, I’m starting to plan like that for each day too.

 My Answer
 Anything routine, I used to be very spontaneous and hated structure and doing the same thing every day. With being injured I have to plan how to use my energy each day and how to spend the couple hours I'm able to do things so for that and to get things accomplished it's a necessity. Plus planning if I need mobility equipment etc. It's comforting now and keeps me on track.3

 Certain types of exercise, i.e. running and some strength training.
 But also some foods like collard greens, kale and some other bitter greens. Also there are meats that when I was younger I would gag on a thought of having to eat them. But now I'll try just about anything. I once found a package of "miscellaneous meat". It was tasty and would've never gave it a second chance back in the day.3

 @TeresaW2024 - Oh...I've been working on him. He says he burns enough calories working. So, I'm trying to get him to lift weights with me. I probably drive him crazy pacing our little house and I tell him all the calories he's eating too. Wow...that must of been difficult getting Joe to the bedroom by yourself.

 I'll have to admit that I'm really starting to enjoy exercising. I used to hate cardio. I've built up my agility and stamina. I've also learn how to breath during my workouts. Inhale on contraction and exhale during exertion. I'm also mindful of my posture and enjoy moving to a strong beat. I kind of look forward to my exercise and sometimes, I stretch them out a little longer.💪 Mission Slimpossible Strong!💪

 Salads! Today, I had a big bowl of greens with a few strawberries, a chopped kiwi, 1/2 c garbanzo beans, and a dash of balsamic vinegar, and felt on top if the world. I am learning to love big bowls of greens.

            @Katmary71 Thanks for the support! I’m just so used to losing and gaining, and losing fast, but my body is 40 now so it’s all hitting a little different. I am also trying to avoid the scale on non-weigh days so I don’t fixate on the numbers this week. As far as spring goals, maybe getting my kids more active with me would be a good one.

 Feeling better about life today, I am less focused on my negative feelings about my body image today than I was yesterday.

 Reading on a kindle, I know that sounds silly, but I was, and still am a lover of books, but now that I use an e-reader I can read anywhere, and it’s really opened up my reading time!

            @Cornanda Lol. You've got a great memory with the street candy. The miscellaneous meat was actually at a grocery store I shop at from time to time. I go there mostly when they have meat on sale. My wife stocks up that way. When I go I look at all the meat racks and freezers because there could be something cheap that's not advertised. Low and behold there was the miscellaneous meat for $1 a pound. I'm not too sure what it was. But a bit if garlic, onion and steak seasoning cooked it in a pan and BAM I was the only one in my house to eat it. It was delicious.3
