Adding 20 miles for 37 out of 200.
Adding 14 miles for 51 out of 200. I'm paying for yesterday. I'm a bit inflamed. Soft pedaling and fewer miles. I'll tell you tomorrow if that worked.

Spent the day on the road, trying to reposition around weather in hopes of seeing the eclipse tomorrow. Please excuse any typos _ I'm updating in a dark hotel room!0 -
I'm going to spend the day tomorrow under my blankets sleeping. Every day is an eclipse for me.1

April 8:6.75 miles walking I did three shorter walks today. That seemed to help, even though I like the long ones. Whatever gets me to feeling good.
TTD: 40.3 miles
Eclipse was 97% at my location. I was not getting out on a crazy road crazy road trip to Erie to see 3 more percent. Probably the last one in my life time for me.I’ll watch the next one from heaven. Better view!
This was traffic heading to Erie earlier today. This was tekenn27 miles from my sister’s exit to my exit. I heard it was this way all the way there which is normally a couple hours.

I saw the eclipse from Durango Mexico and it was amazing. The moment the last ray of sun goes behind the moon is magical. When I tried to see it in Missouri in 2017 we had too many clouds. This time was perfect - although it took a great deal of effort to get there. We had planned to watch it in Mazatlan, but it was too cloudy so we drove up into the mountains where it was clear. I can check that off my bucket list!2

@clepant - the last 3% is a big deal, but I can understand why you didn't want to get in that traffic. That is nuts!1 -

I've seen some really amazing photos of the eclipse the last couple of days. Wife & I chose to stay at home where we had heavy cloud cover so we're just experiencing it through other's eye and cameras. I'm really happy that those of you that wanted to see it pretty much did get to.
@CLEPANT - Wow, that picture of the traffic to Erie!!! I bet some people are wishing they had left a day earlier!!!

I'm only at 11/50. I underestimated the impact all this travel would have on my miles. I may have to ask someone to lower my goal. Oh wait, I would be that someone - hahaha.2
