Hi all... new here.
Just thought I'd stop by and say hi. I have two children that are very picky eaters. Often I make separate meals for myself and the kiddos. Open to some health children friendly meals.

Hi. Feel your pain. My little one is super fussy. Generally the evening meal is the hardest, but he loves spag bol which i make from scratch and manage to hide heaps of veggies in. I always make a big batch so i have options if he wont what i make for me.

I started by slipping a little spinach or other vegetables in food they loved. They wouldn't eat salads but fell in love with a Ceasar salad at a relatively healthy restaurant we went to so I started making that at home. I found that lemon garlic flavors worked for them. Part of the issue for kids is that they need to get used to things. At first they just think they are weird but if they see something on their plate and asked to simply taste it they eventually get used to them. I wish I did this more. That was how I was raised and I eat most foods. I did change how I cooked for them. Recently I brought artichoke to a family party with a yummy honey yogurt dip. My grandnephew loved the dip but was suspicious of the artichoke. He had to taste it if he wanted the dip. Artichokes have something healthy we all need that is not in a lot of other things. My kids grew up eating them so they didn't think they were weird.
