It is May 6th, and as a nurse, I monitor my diabetes. When I discovered that I had type II Diabetes, I had an A1C of 10.6. I was the heaviest that I have ever been. Then I went to a conference and saw the difference in our blood with a blood sugar level of 300 vs 150. At 150 or less, our blood is tomato sauce, and at 300, it looked like mashed potatoes trying to circulate through our body, which scared me. It is easy to stroke out like that. However, I am returning to my old ways, and my A1C, which went down to 4.8, is now 7.7. So, I am back in the saddle again.

I've never heard our blood described quite like that. Welcome to the group.0

I have never heard it described that way either. It would have made a dramatic visual...1
