    Gooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllll!

I've finally hit my personal target weight! The last time I was at this weight was in January 2011 (though I've mostly maintained below my official WW weight for ~15 years now). I can't believe that all of those years of "wishing it off" have finally come to fruition.

I really wish I understood why I was able to flip-the-switch a few months ago and finally stick to my plan once-and-for-all. We'd make a lot of money if we could figure that out.

In any case, it's all going well. I'm planning on sticking with this eating plan for now, and maybe take off a couple of extra pounds for "cushion" for those weight bounces we all have. The running is going well too.

Up 0.2#. Up and down, but 5# higher than I need for elbow room.

I'm down 1.9 lbs, making 9.5 total in 4.5 weeks on the Mayo Clinic Diet.

Steve, I can relate to that feeling of finding the magic switch, however, the heck that thing works! I am still 10ish pounds away from my initial goal of losing 10% of my starting weight. I plan to reevaluate when I am closer to that mark to decide what my true goal might be.

    Way to go Steve!

I’m down 1.0 pound this week. Now I need to find the right sweet spot to maintain my weight around where I am now.

    Congratulations Steve!! Woo-hoo!!

I'm up 1 pound. I had an okay week in terms of overall consumption, but the make-up of my meals was not great - - they were not well-rounded in terms of nutrients. There was a lot of takeout. Cooking at home will be my focus this week.

On a positive note, three people independently commented this week that I look like I've lost weight. Two of them used the term "a lot." That put a little pep in my step.😊

    Have a great weekend!

    WTG! Steve that's incredible!

I'm down 2 lbs from last week but still far beyond where I need and want to be.

I really splurged on Momthers day. Took DW to lunch on Sunday. Gained 6.4 lbs during the week but somehow took it back off.

    On to another week.

    Congratulations, Steve!

I’m still in the Yellow Zone - under my goal weight, but not by a comfortable margin. It’s surprising, because usually my Yellow Zone plan shows results pretty quickly. It’s probably compounded by the fact that my 5/9 studio weigh-in seemed artificially low compared to my morning weigh-in (+1.2#) whereas my 5/16 was +2.2#. My morning result is actually down from a week ago, but that’s not my metric, so I’m still in Yellow.

In the interest of removing some volatility, I’ve decided that I’m going to add my 14 day morning average as a measure. In other words, if either my official studio weight or my daily 14 day average is within 2# of my goal, then I’m in the Yellow Zone. We'll see how that goes.
