Tendon Issues and Menopause

I have have had hip/low back pain for almost 8 months now. Massage does very little. I couldn't get it looked at due to high deductible, but my health plan is getting better in July so I'm going to get an MRI, but has anyone experience tendon issues with menopause. I tried Gleeful to see, but it just gave me cramps. I don't want HRT, but trying to figure out how I can repair or improve my tendons/ligaments. Frankly, I think it is a sacroiliac ligament tear. I used to box, so I just say F it to the pain, and wait to see if I can get help someday. I know losing bodyfat will reduce inflammation that will at least let me hurt less. Thoughts?
