Actually, I don’t make any different recipes in the summer than in the winter.

How about a favorite winter recipe?

They’re pretty much the same as my favorite summer recipes. I guess I’d say slow cooker chili -easy, filling, low in points.

One of my favorite dishes for any time of the year, but especially for summer is:

1 package of Trader Joe's frozen falafel
    1 package of pita bread
1 container of Trader Joe's hummus
1 container of Trader Joe's Cucumber Garlic Dip

    Warm pita.
    Cut in half.
Stuff half a pita with 3 falafel pieces, a dollop or two of hummus, and a dollop of Cucumber Garlic Dip.

    Serve with a salad.

Very light. Very easy. Very quick. Pretty darned inexpensive.

This sounds like exactly the kind of summer dish I'm looking for! Thanks for posting.
