I'm up 3.2 pounds. This is due to a combination of some poor choices through the week, plus starting NSAIDs per a doctor's recommendation for my running injury. NSAIDs always give me a bump in weight, presumably through some fluid retention. Not running is also likely a contributor. While I am riding the exercise bike every day, nothing burns calories as efficiently like running.

Down 0.2. See Saw continues. At least I got a "legal" weigh-in at WW for this month.

I'm down .8. I wasn't expecting this since I had a fairly large loss last week. (Last weeks weigh-in was over a two-week period.)

I'm planning to have a good food plan for the next five days before hitting the road for some family visits. I won't have control over what is served while we're away, but I can control my portions. I'll have access to a kitchen for at least part of the trip, so I can have good good options available. Part one of the trip will be a bit tougher as there's a big family gathering potluck. I haven't seen these folks in awhile, but I recall a lot of good food when we were last together. My goal is going to be to maintain for this trip. So, a few more calories but not by much.

    Haya great weekend!

Like Steve, I’m up a bit and it appears to be associated with a medical issue. Suffice it to say I’ve been spending quality time with Manchester Urology Associates the past few weeks, I’m scheduled for a (hopefully) minor procedure Tuesday, and pending that procedure I’m feeling a stronger-than-usual kinship with Derrick at the moment.

So my official weigh-in Thursday evening was in the Red Zone. I think I’m going to violate my plan and not be overly focused on my weight over the next two weeks. I’ll stay in the Yellow Zone for choices, but I’m not going to try to drive my weight in a particular direction. I’ll get to the other side of the procedure and deal with any weight changes at that point.

Cuz it’s about health first. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Steve and Charlie - I hope your medical issues turn out okay.

Al - glad you are 'legal'.

I'm down 0.8 pounds this week. Weight is right where I want it to be.

    Stream of consciousness below . . .

I'm looping back because I was taking a little trip through my "Progress" table in MFP and realized that today's weigh-in puts me right where I was (to the tenth of a pound) pre-pandemic - - end of February 2020. I was trying hard to lose weight prior to the pandemic and kept see-sawing in about a six pound range. I was still about ten pounds below my original starting weight when I joined WW in 2011. Little did I know I'd go 10+ pounds above that starting weight and stay there for a good while.

Anyhoo, something about this tid-bit of knowledge has put a little pep in my step. I've struggled to break into the next "decade" of weigh several times the past couple of years, and realizing that it's been more than four years since I've been below "x" weight has made me a bit more determined.

I'm going to be a diligent tracker for the next few weeks. I REALLY want those two pounds that will put me in the next decade.

    That is all.

I was up almost 3 lbs yesterday. I expected a smaller gain or a hold, so ... yeah, kind of a surprise. I didn't even record it. Moving on. See ya next week.

No weight change. A good week for exercise, balanced eating, sleep and stress management. Following dietitian recommendations to reduce saturated fat in diet by switched to non fat dairy and other tweaks. Have a follow up visit in mid August.
