    I am really embarrassed by these numbers. How can one gain 7 pounds in one week? I did eat over calories a lot but not enough to gain 7 pounds. I need to get my head back in the game. I have lost myself in the last 4 months. Stress has got the better of me and a lot of my old bad habits have returned. (Binge eating, night time eating, skipping meals, etc.) The last few days I haven’t ate at night so that’s a positive. My surgery is next Wednesday. I am going to concentrate on recovering and part of that will be my diet.

    Brain or Heart - Tough questions. I think I start with my brain and millions of spreadsheets....then the heart wins.

    Cardio or Strength Training? Strength Training as I see/feel the results.

    What is the best part about who you are? I'm a problem solver.

    What is your least favorite fruit? Cherries

    How many jumping jacks can you do ? Can? I can probably do 20 but I won't as it's too high impact for my body.

    @lindamtuck2018 ~ I had the exact opposite happen with my scale. After a crazy weigh in on Saturday, I weighed on Monday at 218.4 and it questioned my identity!! :)

    @myndieet ~ Congrats on reaching Onderland!!!

    Vacation Notice: I will be on vacation 8/3 and 8/10. I have not yet found my travel scale so not sure If I'll be able to post.

    Another night of not sleeping well, and the snack monster got me again. After I eat I find it easier to fall back asleep. I used to have a lot of trouble sleeping when I was going through menopause - I was just too hot - but that had gone away. Now I seem to be in that pattern again, perhaps it's the summer weather. My husband has abandoned his fitness tracker. I turned off my Garmin fitness tracker in the afternoon - was trying to pair his so that I could wear one to bed, and one for the day (couldn't figure it out) and I forogt to turn it back on. So didn't get my final steps or my sleep hours. I hate when that happens!

    @myndieet Congrats!

    @lindamtuck2018 Stress and anxiety can play a huge part on our weight, even if you are eating what you should. Don't beat up on yourself too much - you also lose a lot of weight fast. Once the surgery is done you can focus on your recovery and things will fall into place.

    @itladyee Well deserved vacation! Where are you off to?
