I'm down 1.4 pounds this week, but it "should have been" significantly more. I came off the naproxen I was taking, and my weight dropped really quickly (I was down 3 pounds yesterday). However, I went out to dinner with my old trainees, and had a couple (ok, three) beers with some shwarma and fries. In any case, it's good to see the weight dropping back down again.
Also in cautiously optimistic news, I was able to run twice this week on the treadmill. I've been having significant pain in my calf, and I've been resting it (and had been taking naproxen) for a few weeks. I wasn't pain-free during my runs, but this is the first time that the pain was mild-enough that I didn't have to stop running a mile in.
So, it's back to the grind. I'll plan on limiting dessert and alcohol to Friday night/Saturday, and trying to build my running back up slowly.

I'm up .8 over two weeks.
I had a goal of maintaining while on a family trip that covered part of the last two weeks, and I consider this weigh-in a win. I definitely snacked too much while away, but I tried to maintain a daily calorie consumption at or below maintenance. There was a lot of estimating. I limited alcohol which is sometimes hard to do with part of this crowd. But I'm definitely feeling a sugar hangover, though. I also was reminded of how I will non-stop shovel chips and salsa in my mouth at a good Mexican restaurant.
I'm ready to get back at it now that I'm home.
Have a great weekend!4 -
Down 0.2. 13 lbs to reach goal weight. An ordinary week following my plan. As I've mentioned, one of my goals is to maintain muscle mass, which isn't reflected on the scale, but only when I get a DEXA body scan.3

I did good for six days, but there are seven days in a week. Yesterday I ate anything and everything in sight, including twice as much for lunch as I should have. I also finished off a bag of dark chocolate morsels meant for baking, eating it as a snack and not weighing or tracking it. End result is I'm up 1.4 pounds for the week.
I plan to use yesterday as a wake-up call, and not let it happen again. It is the only off-the-rails day I have had since I got back in the game in February. It was a good reminder that I track my intake and set daily targets for a reason - they work. The alternative clearly does not work.4 -
Down 3.6# since last Friday. Need to keep this going. Back below goal, but really need a better cushion for my WW weigh-in.2

Down 4.2 lbs this week. I have been behaving this week till tonight which is the beginning of a new week for me. Not the greatest way to to start.
I ordered a chef salad and split it about 65% for me 35% for DW then we ordered a large pizza which is the farthest and least of my favorite food. I ate 2.5 pieces and she ate three then we split a piece of cheese cake.
It was good but that just about does me in for pizza for the year.
On to another week. I still have a long way to go. I keep loosing the same 10 lbs over and over.2 -
Well, I may have to offer a bit more credibility to the potential impact of medical issues . . . .
Last week I was solidly in the Red Zone for both my official weekly weigh-in and for the fourteen day daily average. This gain was despite eating the same way (as far as I was concerned) in the run-up to and subsequent to the procedure on 7/2. I consciously elected to stay within my Yellow Zone plan of not more than ten points over daily on any day so that I didn’t feel overly restricted in that period.
So this Thursday at my official Studio weigh-in I was down 8.6# from a week prior, and solidly in the Green Zone - and free Lifetime for yet another month. Even given my history of volatility at the scale, that’s a big swing and a big change in that time frame. For now, I’m continuing the Yellow Zone approach, because while the official weekly result is Green, that pesky 14 day average is Red, and it’s gonna take another week or two to wash those high results away.
But, that’s also why I started including the 14 day average as a factor in my eating pattern - so that a single successful weigh-in wasn’t enough to let me off the hook, so to speak, and it now takes a pattern of reasonable results over time to get my eating plan back to my maximum flexibility in the Green Zone.
I've got another week of limited physical activity, followed by four weeks when I’m allowed to ramp that activity back up. Never thought I’d be missing my level of activity, but that’s where I find myself today. Who have I become? 🤷🏻♂️2
