I’m thinking 1 and 3, because I think they are tied together. I think you need to feel something before you decide to do something. Even with as basic an action as rolling over in bed, you feel some sense of discomfort and therefore you turn over.
There’s also an argument that 4 is unavoidably in play, because a bad day/week/month will induce a weight gain.1 -
3 As in provoke to riot! And not quietly.2

If we're taking the question in terms of how one gets back on track, I guess I'd pick #4. My hope is that getting off-track will bring about a change in approach. That usually means going back to my plan and actually trying to stick to it!2

They all fit, depending on the day, but #3 is the definition that provokes me most often.2
