I'm down 0.6 pounds this week. More importantly, though, I'm back in the groove. I stuck to my eating plan pretty well all week, and on a really good note, I am back to running. My weight is a few pounds above my personal goal again, but if I keep doing what I'm doing, I imagine I'll see the weight come off over the next few weeks. I'm trying to practice the patience that I preach!

Few things in life are as annoying as having to take your own advice, Steve. 😉

It was an interesting week, with six of seven days fairly good. However, I think I successfully proved to myself that I’m not immune from the issue that having sweets seems to lead to more sweets. I had a Snickers on Wednesday - which led to multiple Kind mini-bars as well as three ounces of cheese and enough crackers to keep that cheese company. That, of course, was the evening before my Thursday weigh-in . . . .

So I managed to put my weekly official weigh-in up into the Red Zone. My 14 day average, which had just teetered into the Yellow, is now also Red once again. The official weigh-in means I’m limited to my daily points target until I official weigh in within a lower range. That’s certainly doable, and I won’t try to rush it. On the plus side - not the plus size, but the plus side - I’m now able to start ramping up my activity after my procedure on 7/2/24. That should help my mindset and potentially help get me back on track.

Way to go Steve! My running has all but stopped with the summer heat. I only run on the treadmill now, and that has fallen off to once a week.

Charlie - you have a solid plan in place for just this sort of thing. I have no doubt that you will see a change in colors soon.

I had a great week food-wise. The result was losing the pound I gained last week, then some. I am at a good weight to maintain.

    Hey Friday Weighers!

I'm out of town again with no scale access. I was having a good week and then started blowing it on Wednesday - - three days in a row of eating lots of calorie dense junk food. I need to correct this so I don't backslide. On a positive note, a relative commented that I look like I've lost weight.

I think we've been so on the go the past few weeks with travel that I haven't taken time to stop and focus on/remember what I want to accomplish with my Diet. I need to spend some time getting my head right again. I was feeling calm and determined early this year, and I loved that feeling. I should have time tonight to focus on ME.

I'm up 4.8 lbs. I went on a business trip Wednesday, Tuesday, Friday made several bad choices, ate real late all three nights and on and on with finalized with Chinese last night with no yelling how much sodium was in that food.

Well it's time t to move on to another week and recover from this disaster.
