TOPIC: Fresh Start Daily***Fri 9/6 ***Join in and post away

Good Morning!
Yesterday got away from me and I ended up posting my food diary from my phone and then the final post was from my bed before I fell asleep.

I did have a good day when it comes to food calories in. Getting to the gym never happened after I go off work as I stayed all day to make up for my short hours from Monday's holiday and I will be working all day today. Yesterday I ended up working my job which I am learning again. Today I will be doing my job and the receptionist job. Can you say busy. Plus my co-worker went home sick yesterday so I tried to pick up some of her job which is my job but I am the new kid on the block. :) I work in radio and do traffic for commercials. I used to do this at the same place but left for a 7 yrs. I was recently doing daycare and had the offer to return to radio and after many conversations I decided to go back.

I will be back today, I need to pack lunches for my husband and myself. Tree

    Tree - hang in there my friend. I understand the busy part. Sometimes life happens eh?
    Glad it's Friday and I"ll be REALLY glad when this move is done although I am going to miss the pool and have to figure out a new walk with the puppies.
    We lost power for about 3 hrs last night so everything went sideways. Got some packing done and went shopping for a butcher block ktichen stand. Hubby (Bless him) knew I was missing my walk so we parked the car at the far end of the center, walked all over then walked to the restaurant and then back to the car - so at least I got a couple of miles in. Didnt have the best shoes for it but I'll take it.

    Long work day but then its the weekend! In addition to packing, I should be able to get some exercise in and I really need to pay attention to my food. Have seen a couple of articles this week that its about what we eat much more than the exercise. The Fit for the gym and weight comes from the kitchen....probably more true than not for me!

    I gotta get to work as I'm the only Underwriter in the office today - great! Make it a great day all!

    Tree-- that does sound like a busy time! Hopefully you'll be able to do the things you want to do for yourself too.
    Aseymour-- Moving is a pain; hopefully the move goes smoothly for you. That's great your hubby helped you get a walk in.

    Tonight will be day 4 of Insanity for me. It sounds like this will be a pretty easy workout, so maybe I can get something else in too so that I really earn the pizza I'm planning to have for dinner, haha. My legs are feeling much better and I was able to get through last night's workout with just a little discomfort toward the end. Hooray!

    Good evening it's 6 pm In NH. Had a good day got my exercise in Jm shred it with weights Kettlebell DONE
    day 6 of 30 arms 15 push-ups,20 dips,40 biceps curls,30 sec punches DONE
    day 6 of 30 squats 75 DONE:smile:

    Planning on playing some catch and other type sports in the park with my fiend tonight, I did 20mins of arm exercises after the kids went down for a nap and I am on target for the day!

    ETA: that was NOT a light workout, lol. The internet lied. I don't do much yoga and stuff like that, so this was a bit of a challenge for me. I'm sure my endurance will improve as I go and eventually I'll agree that the cardio recovery dvd is light.

    Also ETA: sorry for the fail with the quoting my own post instead of editing it. Maybe my brains are tired too. :tongue:
