Today's Topic: Budgeting? Most of us have to budget our finances, monthly or annually etc;. With the rise of grocery food prices along with many other items escalating in the last couple of years has this effected your weight watchers/MFP food budgets? or caused you to make adjustments?

While inflation has increased our food costs, there were two things that had already altered our food budget. We went gluten free years ago due to a food allergy, so that pretty much wiped out fast food. The pandemic took away eating in restaurants, a practice that we never have resumed. There is not much we can change at thhs point.0

We don't eat out, except on rare occasions. Basic stuff I eat every day, like oatmeal, cottage cheese, and bread is higher priced but still affordable.0

We're spending the money we used to spend on deductibles and co-pays before Medicare on food, I guess. We basically buy what we need, and pay what we have to pay. I may be a little more tolerant of store brand than in the past, but shortages have made more of a difference in our choices than finances have.1
