Well, an uneventful week was followed by a more eventful week this week.

I am in my Green Zone - on the 14 day daily average. However, after a dinner with friends the evening before my weigh-in, I was in the Red Zone Thursday for my official weigh-in. Based on that, I’m limiting myself to my daily points and not using weekly or earned activity points.

The interesting bit is that I fully expect the Red Zone to be no more than a weekend trip. However, I feel a strong pull to not accept excuses and execute the plan. That’s driven by “who I want to be”, but also by a perception that it’s taking longer to shed those blips.

I did do a recalibration on my breakfast, and found I was using more cereal than I had previously calculated - enough that I’m using seven points each week that I hadn’t accounted for. Guess I need to check some of the other dusty corners of my practices.

I’m finding it more difficult to shred the blips and need to focus more on preventing them.

Agreed. My fourteen day average approach is helping with prevention, as is the .three snack rule”. But it’s all about eternal vigilance. 🤷🏻‍♂️
