Many of us feel the need to remain connected by just signing in on a daily basis. We may have a lot to say or very little. We may say smart things, or dumb things. It doesn't matter if we're having a good day, a bad day...or something in between. We'll post our thoughts, our successes, our challenges, our insights (or lack thereof), and our support. We're here for each other. Together, we can do this!

This isn't about perfection...it's about perseverance: to persist in an undertaking in spite of counter influences, opposition, or discouragement.

Onward and Downward. Everyone is welcome!

Do one thing right today...whether it's drinking the liquids, eating the fruits and vegetables, taking the multivitamin, getting the dairies in, having the healthy oil, choosing whole grains...whatever.

Remember that at its core, this plan is simple - eat less than you used to, eat a little healthier, be a bit more active. The rest is just finding the balance that works for you, and your friends on GoaD are here to share what's worked for them.

@philtex - Your Cowboys looked *very* good yesterday. As a Browns fan, I'm in a familiar place of wondering "are they that good or are we that bad?" Probably some of both if the pattern holds. Lol.

    Good day, all.

Brian - the Cowboys usually look good in the regular season, which is fun to watch. We will see later if they can finally win in the playoffs. Cowboys seasons are Super Bowl or bust. It has been bust for a long time now.

Do your Browns have a quarterback problem, or an offensive line problem? Hard to tell. I really liked Amarie Cooper while he was here. You have a really good receiver, even if he did have a bad drop yesterday.

As someone who grew up in Texas and has been a follower of the Cowboys since the age of zero, I really dislike Jerry Jones and think he's the number one reason the Cowboys have not won a Super Bowl since the mid-1990s.

    YMMV.

Agree re: Amari Cooper - he's been a joy to watch. We refer to him as the Nick Chubb of WRs (which is to say ... low profile, no drama, gets the job done).

The Browns were severely beat up last season and missing a ton of starters while somehow still making it into the playoffs, so I think what you saw yesterday was a team trying to figure itself out again. They're missing Chubb *big time* and that means way too many 3rd and long situations. Both starting OTs were out yesterday and one of the backups played the worst game of his career. Watson is possibly washed, but OTOH he's coming back from major shoulder surgery and a lot of time out of action, so ... I'm not ready to give up on the guy (although many fans certainly are!). Cleveland has a solid front office, excellent coaching, and a defense that will keep them in almost every game. My sense is they'll be ok and finish with 9 or 10 wins.
