Why protein?

Consuming protein is essential to everything your body does, and sadly, most western diets do not include enough protein. Protein will help you regardless of your fitness goals, whether it’s gaining muscle, losing body fat, or just general maintenance, eating enough protein throughout your day is going to be key.

Even if you don’t necessarily have fitness “goals” per se, challenging yourself to eat a good amount of protein every meal and beginning to prioritize protein in your diet will increase satiety and reduce your urge to reach for less optimal foods. So eat your protein!
