whole grain bread

I just got back from the local co-op and the bread there is almost six dollars a loaf!!! That's too much for this broke college kid. So making my own is my only option for healthy bread, which I am fine with, I just want to know as I am new to clean eating, what is your favorite clean whole grain bread recipe? Are there certain things I should look out for when buying the ingredients?
