@laurelfit57 The names are not clickable links they are tags. Placing the @ in front of the name notifies the member that they have been mentioned. If you would like to contact Sheila7631 you could do a search for her name on the MFP Home page.

Where will I see the invitation?

My name is above but I haven't received any kind of invitation to "join my group" ... would it come as a message through MFP ? (I have NO messages in my box). Or would it come in some other fashion? (I don't remember providing my email address but maybe i did?

I found some guidance in the chat thread. I clicked on the note under the notification bell "join my team" and I get to the main page which says "join the page to view content" (or something like that) but there is no "join group" button. I've logged out & back in, and that hasn't changed anything.

I'm normally not this technologically stupid, so what am I missing??

I found the place join all the groups on MFP and this is what I see ..... It is impossible to join the Red Hot group as it is "under construction" and has no join button.
