Two things come to mind.
- I have set an alarm and gotten up earlier just so I’d be able to get in my daily strengthening and stretching routine. Since I’m retired, I treasure not setting an alarm, so that’s a pretty big sacrifice.
- I tried chicken sausage breakfast patties. I’ve always been in the “if ever it was attached to fealthers, it ain’t sausage” camp. However, I did migrate from bacon to Canadian bacon one day a week - and the Canadian bacon I like has disappeared from stores, so I tried the chicken sausage patty. To paraphrase Thomas Edison, “I now know of ten thousand things that are not sausage”.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I'll say:
Not doing a weekly weigh-in and just trusting the process and trusting myself to do the process.
I have an EXCELLENT recipe for turkey breakfast sausage. I think I've posted it previously.

1. I plan more consistency. It's hard to execute a plan if there is no plan. 2. I've swapped out butter for olive oil in cooking. 3. I eat more mindfully in the evening, usually centered around a protein smoothie a couple of hours before bed. 4. I've upped my fruit and vegetable intake ( I aim for 2 1/2 cups of each daily. 5. I read health newsletters from reliable sources (I guess Harvard and Cleveland Clinic are not engaged in fake health news yet). 6. I track diet for protein, fiber, sat fat, and added sugar. 7. I set aside the hour before bedtime to decompress, which aids getting to sleep sooner. 8. I track walking every day. 9. I've added a few minor destressing tools. 10. Tried Halo Top dessert (Sorry, it's a no go, but Healthy Choice Fudge Bars are here to stay).1

Most of the Halo Top are a no go for me; some are just bad. The Mint and the Birthday Cake are the exceptions that I like.0 -

I’m not a mint ice cream fan, but will give the birthday cake flavor a try,
