I love Decluttering! I wonder why I quit when the two weeks are over.
Love it or hate it? How are you doing?
Please share any tips and outcomes of your hard work!

TIP: 10 minutes of decluttering equals 5 minutes of picking up and putting away. I recommend that you allocate your time based on that formula. Choose your area to declutter, pull everything out, decide what doesn't belong there. Put the stuff that belongs there back in the space (in an organized way), bring things that belong somewhere else to their proper home, and dispose of the remainder in a way you pre-planned (sell, donate, toss out). And at the end of the week, be sure to allocate the appropriate amount of time to take things to the donation center, if you planned to donate some of your household abundance.

TIP: Before and After pictures are fun.0

TIP: Horizontal surfaces that have clutter mysteriously reappear a short time after you decluttered - it means you need a more permanent solution. Take a good look at the clutter that keeps reappearing and decide a better way to manage it.1

I love decluttering!!! My husband follows me around and says I may need that. Followed by my for what? Before my husband retired I used to get up when he left for work. He was a 3rd shifter I would grab everything I wanted to get rid of and pack my car. If it was garbage I would take it over to my parents. If it was donate I would take it to the drop offs all before going to work. Now that he's retired it's A lot harder to get rid of stuff. I have also been my BIL storage place. As he hasn't come to clear out that part of my basement in over 25 years. For the last 5 years I ditch a tote every year. I go through it first but so far I realize the man has been a reduced rack addict. If he hasn't used it in 20/25 years he never will. I love getting rid of stuff.0

If you have a facebook, look into your community's Buy Nothing groups. It's a great way to get rid of things taking up space in your house but still have too much life left for the garbage.0 -
I've developed a phrase that has helped me with keeping on top of various tasks. It's based on "see something, say something." My phrase is "see something, do something". Instead of seeing something that needs to be done and putting it off till "next time", I try to do it then or add it to a written list. It has helped me navigate the extra responsibilities I am becoming aware of since July.1
