Wow! Everyone is on fire with their exercise minutes so far this week! It's only Tuesday and some folks are almost done!

How many exericse minutes do you aim for each week?

    Tuesday
I finished up with the last 2 destinations.

@lauren_989, I usually aim for 120+ minutes per day (1 30-min walk, 1 60-min walk, and 30 minutes strength training). But things interfere... I have a very BAD head cold, and I decided to take a (mostly) rest day on Tuesday (85 min).

    Here’s my progress!

Sunday did an incline walk for 45 min and went to Toronto Canada, Cardiff Wales and Manila Philippines.

Monday did a 30 min HIIT and went to the Paris France and Dublin Ireland.

Tuesday did a 45 min strength training. Went to Copenhagen Denmark (I have been logging my food any way for the past month) and for Ottawa Canada my motivational quote is this:

Last but not least is the SMART goal for Madrid Spain:

My goal for this month is to do a 30 min stretch every morning!

60 minute body pump class today and went to:

    Costa Rica
    Sweden
    South Korea
    Kenya

NSV: I went to body pump class tonight even though I didn't want to. I am still sore from the last 2 days, and have a lot to do tonight. I may have gone lighter on weights but still showed up! 🙂

I'm an exercise fanatic. I hate to think what I'd weigh if I was less active. I generally get 2 to 3 hours per day (sometimes 4). Looking back, I logged 4,480+ minutes in October. That's an average of:
    4,480 minutes ➗ 60 minutes/hour ➗ ~4.2 weeks/month 🟰 17.8 hours/week.

My week usually goes something like this:
    • Aquafit - 60 minutes x 5 days/week
    • swimming - ~20-30 minutes x 2-3 days/week
    • "Silver Strength" strength/cardio class - 60 minutes x 3 days/week
    • tai chi - 60 minutes x 3 days/week (used to be 2 times/week)
    • walking (or hiking, when opportunity arises) - ~20-60 minutes daily
    • yoga - ~15-45 minutes daily
    • strength training - ~30 minutes x 2-3 days/week

I'd like to start doing one or both of the following, but I'll need to reduce some of my Aquafit, Silver Strength and walking because
    • cycling - 40-60 minutes daily (started in July, didn't ride in October, need a working bike)
    • racketball or pickleball

    my new healthy pancake recipe

    one cup of pancake mix
one scoop of your favorite meal replacement shake
    one cup of water
    top with your favorite toppings

I like to try out different flavors of meal replacement shake. this makes 3 pancakes.

I went for a 30 minute walk on lunch today.

Smart goal: to lose 5 pounds this month by tracking my calories and exercise a minimum of 3 days a week.

Some days I tell myself just walk 5 minutes, then you can stop. Most of the time, I will walk 30 minutes. A few times I have done just 5 minutes and stopped.

    Challenge update!

On Wednesday I did a 45 min strength training class, so I went to Bern Switzerland, Nassau Bahamas and Brussels Belgium.

On Thursday I did a 1 hour yoga session. Went to Bangkok Thailand, Nairobi Kenya, Bucharest Romania and St. Andrews Scotland (mine was hair and skin care at home while enjoying a book ❤️)

On Saturday went hiking for about 1 hr 20 min. Went to Seoul South Korea, Stockholm Sweden (My NSV was carrying my 25 lbs toddler parts of the way while hiking without feeling like dying lol), and for Oslo Norway I tried a roasted cauliflower recipe with tahini sauce. It was delicious!! Finally went to San Jose Costa Rica this morning and now I’m back to Washington DC! Yay 😊
