I enjoy popcorn also. Microwave also.

Face is mostly better. Jaw fish is doing well so far.

Kathy walking on your cruise is good for the soul. Puts a smile on our face. I skipped working out today. And I also need more exercise.

Chris don't buy them. They entice you like chocolate does me.

Veterans day lunch with several friends today. Spent most of the day trying to hook up my 2 wave pumps to an app. What a pain. But it is done. Now to sync them and program them. So complicated for this non tech person.

Shelley, they are my husbands dessert...ugh. Didn't use to like them. Use to get the low fat ones...not any more.
Collin and I went for a walk this morning....1.85 miles in 54 mins. It was a little cool wind in one direction...sunshine in the other. He fell asleep about 10 mins out but woke up when we got to the house. SIL got here 5 mins later...worked out just fine.
I ordered sandals for Collin...size 7 - received size 3. Not even close. Must return them to Amazon. Painful. Darn, we were just at the UPS store!!
Now I'm gonna read. Might make some popcorn.

hmm, Christmas present for hubby. Small safe. Must use finger print to open. Graham crackers are now secured from Chris. Problem solved Chris. :p What a beautiful walk.

I decided to let my days in a row counter lapse. Just don't care now. Took me a good part of my weekend but I now have my flow pumps on their app. The app is on my pad and phone. I just hit a button and feed mode is activated. 10 minutes of low flow so my fishy friends can eat. Later I will slowly design a flow to mimic a reef area with a slower flow during evening hours.

Upper body workout tomorrow. Should be fun.

Shelley, You may have a tourist attraction there, the Shelley Smith Tropical Reef, sounds exquisite.

I went to a friends house and walked home, up the hill, without much difficulty. That was a win.

On the other hand, my struggle to stay in keto is drowning. Haven't written if off yet but am having those old familiar sabotage thoughts like "since I've already messed up... and I'll just cheat a little before fixing it..." I need to avoid bringing home any vegan cookies or Jack Daniels from the store. Empty cupboards are my best defense.

I gave up on the days in a row counter a long time ago. I was too busy to keep up. And I’m like you Shelley it’s not important anymore,

Paula I agree my best defense is keeping junk out of the house. This cruise will be interesting. There’s so many restaurants and snack areas. We will see how it goes. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

Thank you, Shelley, it should help locking the grahams away with only Rocky's thumb print to access them. Good thinking, my friend!!! Sounds like you are having fun with your tanks.
Paula, good job getting up the hill without much difficulty. Yeah, No Junk cupboards should be a thing.
Kathy, I'm excited to hear about your cruise.
Collin and I did 1.36 miles in 38 mins and it was cloudy and cool outside. He wanted to stay on the sidewalk outside people's homes that still had pumpkins and decorations and just look at everything and tell me all the colors. And there were still a lot of pumpkins out there!!! :# It was a good walk and he fell asleep 15 mins before getting home and slept for 2 1/2 hours. He just woke up when I got home from my workout.
Ronan is here working on homework w/Grandpa now.
    That's it for now.

Paula great job on the hill. Funny I hate hills. But enjoy them in a group. What type of snacks can you have? Jack Daniels is not on anyone's healthy lifestyle. But maybe there are some fulfilling snacks.

Kathy if I keep it out of the house I do better for sure. I know you can find things on any menu that is healthy. I hated it when calories started appearing on menus. Now I love the help.

Chris we need smart cupboards. No I can't open after 6:00. I could really use a Collin to make walking interesting.

Didn't make my workout. Migraine instead. Really was miserable.

Chris thanks. Sounds like you had a peaceful day.

I finally felt better about 4:00 today. Came home and ate dinner and played with the kids. Asuna just loves all her toys. Libby just plays at being the cutest. And Barney chased his ball around.

We had Collin Duty this morning...we walked 1.45 miles in 42 mins and then I went to my trainer's for a 60 min workout. Ronan is being p/u now. Now I have to wrap Collin's b'day presents for tomorrow's party!! ugh!!!! I'm okay. It has been a good Friday!

a birthday party Chris. Sounds like fun.

Kathy you have been safely in onederland for a very long time. You are a success!

We were very short handed today. But it all worked out very well. I made a small batch of cookies tonight. And only had 4 small ones. Not bad.

I think I will clean tomorrow.

I skipped weighing for awhile because bad news is disheartening. Hopefully that has turned around - down 1/2 pound this week. Fingers crossed.

The plan is: no snacks within easy reach; but something tasty & healthy always ready-to-eat.

Currently there is a pot of turkey&carrot stew in the fridge. And there is a spoon in the pot to facilitate nibbling. This is laziness at its best; when I'm hungry, the stew is so easy to grab. Since it's yummy and has almost no carbs, it helps kick cravings.

I've actually gone into the kitchen to fix a snack, seen the stew instead, grabbed a bite (or2), and then been able to leave with both tastebuds and hunger fully satisfied...

With a hopeful sigh of relief,

Birthday party was loud and crazy fun. Kids cooked and ordered pizza. Made cupcakes. Collin opened presents with Ronan's help. It was fun to watch. Collin then had his mom read him a couple of books he got. She sang one of the truck songs and Collin was dancing in her lap. So darn cute!
Well, we're home now and winding down.

Paula I laughed at the spoon in the pot. Laziness at its best. But it is your pot.

Chris sounds like you had a blast. And so did everyone else. We almost had pizza. Went with Grilled chicken and Brussels sprouts. Chocolate pudding for dessert. I had one serving.

Cleaned some of my tanks. Need to change water tomorrow. But first going to work out. I need to before I lose the habit.

I got 5.47 miles done in 109 mins this morning. Temps were in the 50's and it was cloudy and light breeze. It started out sunny but I never opened my umbrella and took my jacket off by the end of the second block! Crazy! Not too many folks on the trail. It was a good walk.
Pat is going to get Ronan for some play time and I am going to read.

Chris no stroller pushing this morning. Must have been quiet.

Cleaned out the clown fish home. Fixed the skimmer . Should stay clean longer now. Did 30 gallons worth of water changes. Realized the wrasse has been in a 20 gallon quarantine tank for a year! Moved him into a 40 with a few other fish. Hope he does well.

Chris it has been over a year since I began slowly learning Spanish. Didn't think I had learned much. Then at DND my daughters friends started speaking in Spanish. I actually could pick up a little. Another year and I will be able to order lunch.

Kathy is on a cruise as of today. Have fun.

I walked to a potluck Sunday but found a ride home. Walking home was tempting since that was the uphill leg and would've been a good workout, but I chickened out since it was after dark.

Mountain lions are caught on trailcams in our community; often just a couple blocks away. Awhile ago one learned to jump fences and take pets from backyards. A rumor was someone got a license and hunted that one. I'm sorry because that's just a lion's nature; but little kids play in their backyards up here and it's our nature to protect them.

They don't generally attack adults who aren't running from them; but I don't want to be an exception. I'm not afraid of foxes (one was in my yard this morning), bobcats or even a couple of coyotes; but you don't know a puma's there till it's too late. So... hyper-vigilant after twilight or up on the trails.

I wish my cats weren't so picky because a big dog would be a great walking companion.

Shelley, I got to stroller this morning!! 1.74 miles in 70 mins. Such a cold wind there was!!! But we did it!Met a couple with a puppy poodle-mix. It was so cute, and they were super nice. Maybe we'll see them again.
Paula, pretty smart decision to get a ride home after dark. Too scary to be out there by your self.
Went to my trainer's for a 60 min workout!! Now I'm going to make soup.

Paula foxes have been known to make great pets. It's just illegal. Grumble. Cats are silent killers for sure. Good choice. Sounds like you had fun.

Chris great day. Which soup did you make?

I am having lots of migraines lately. No fun.

Almost forgot. Jury trial in District court today. Defendant was a no show. Judge said go get her. Before our law enforcement could find her the co-signer for her bond called and said they were outside. Parked blocking traffic. And to come get her. Had t drag her out of the vehicle. Judge set a new bond of $500,000 cash only. Mistrial had already been called. Some people, she has been dragging this out for 2 years. That is over with now.

Shelley, the jury trial sounds interesting and bit exciting!!
I made my usual soup...chicken, beans, salsa, rice. I've been making it for years. Everyone really likes it. Sometimes I use the white sweet potatoes instead of rice...adds a sweetness to it. I do have to chop up the chicken breasts really small so Ronan doesn't notice it. He spotted the chicken a while back and said he didn't like it. Now, it's called Cheesy Bean Soup...lots of cheese mixed in the heated soup. It has been requested at parties, too!! Sara usually requests two or three Tupperware containers for her lunches.
We had Collin Duty this morning. He and I went on our walk and did 1.82 miles in 80 mins to the farm and the dog park. Ronan is here now playing w/Grandpa.
We are supposed to have some heavy rain the next few days. We'll see. I hope it doesn't rain this weekend or during next week. My trainer will be gone for the week and I'm hoping to get some miles in since we won't have the boys either...Thanksgiving week!!
    Reading now.

Ronan doesn't like chicken? I didn't think kids minded it so much if it was in soup. I am a big fan of soup. Just not cheese so much.

My SIL is allergic to chicken. Swells up his throat. So you are going to be alone on Thanksgiving? Commissioner meeting tonight. Very uninteresting. Then a small burger from Wendys. Followed by a small frosty.

Ordered a Dell gaming computer. Sure hope it lasts for many years.

Hi ladies! Finally back home after 2 weeks of travel. I was in Houston for my boss's staff meeting, and then Nashville, and then just recently two Atlanta for my best friend's daughter's wedding. All three of us went for that and it was so wonderful. I've known Lindsay since she was born. We got a VRBO with my sister's family and had a wonderful time! The scale is not happy but I deserve that :-) really looking forward to slowing down and just leaning into the holidays. Feeling a little depleted for sure. Sharing a photo from our trip to Atlanta. I really love this picture. We don't get to dress up very much so it's very nice to have a good picture.

Hope everybody has a great Wednesday!

Karen, you guys all look beautiful! What an adventure!
Shelley, we have been invited to SIL's mom's house for Thanksgiving dinner. We are in charge of Green Bean Casserole and buns. I'll be fine... :# She is a great cook, tho.
Ronan got a chunk of chicken in the soup way back in time and just didn't like the texture or something, but that was the end of Chicken Been Soup. It became Cheesy Bean Soup the following batch with the chicken cut up really tiny!! He hasn't discovered my deception...yet.
We had Collin Duty this morning. He and I went for a quick walk because it was so windy and cold this morning!! We did 1.12 miles in 30 mins. So cold! Then I had my trainer for a 60 min workout. It was good. Ronan was here when I got home.
    That was my day!

Katen that was a world wind two weeks. So glad the wedding was at the end of the trip. You all look great. I need to dress up more. Kathy does quite a bit.

Chris kids are funny about food for sure. I hope you don't get found out. o:) Nice workout.

Work was busy today. Then I looked up raspberry plants for home gardening. Thornless was on my list of requirements. And cold hardy. And altitude hardy also. I did find a few. One I read up about has some thorns but not bad. Won a taste contest. And surprisingly it is one of the yellow type. :p Didn't expect that.
