The NFL weekend kicks off Thursday with Houston at the Jets and ends with Tampa Bay at Kansas City on MNF. There are plenty of college and NFL games in between. What do you expect from your favorite team(s) or player(s)? How did they do this weekend? What about those teams you love to hate? This thread is here for all your football talk.

Pats are on target to do what was expected of them - win about four or five games. No disrespect to Tennessee, but it is at least a winnable game.

The J-E-T-S surprised me last night. Why does "young, talented, and upcoming" Houston seem so very ordinary this year after their strong 2023?

Greg - it looks like your Oregon Ducks rolled today.

This season has turned into a dumpster fire for Dallas. I will always be a Cowboys fan, but now I need another team to root for the rest of this year to keep things interesting. I turn to the Goadies for suggestions. Anyone want to make a case for their team? Eagles and Steelers need not apply. Anyone?

The Cowboys are doing what they have always done under Jerry Jones sans Jimmy Johnson. Play like the mediocre team they are.

Very happy with the Ducks. Previously, they have been really good, but not strong enough to beat traditional "powerhouse" teams. This year, they beat Ohio St., who demolished them a few years ago in the National Championship game. And, though Michigan has weak years, they have a storied program. The Ducks seem pretty solid.
