I am a 26 year old female, 5'3" (160cm) and currently weigh 102.9kg, down from 105kg a month ago. I am looking long term to get down to 80kg. I am currently on maternity leave looking after my 9 month old son, but will be going back to work full time at the start of October so have a feeling I may need some extra help with motivation when I am sitting at a desk all day.
My main exercise at the moment is walking (I started a jogging program, but did in my knee
) but I manage an average of 1-2 hours a day. When I am back at work whenever weather permits I will be walking home after picking up my son from care (about 4km) but apart from that I would love for others to share their family friendly exercise programs.
Feel free to add me as a friend for mutual motivation

Hi Nicole - I'll send you a FR - welcome back!! I'm also an Aussie - there are a few of us around.
I also did my knee when I started running, I invested in a great pair of shoes and insoles and that helped a heap - also I started to do alot of squats and body weight training and that also helped so that my knees cope a lot better now, but I am still really careful with impact exercises. You might also find that the load on your knees will decrease as you loose weight. Walking is great exercise and I know so many people that lost weight with regular walking routines and careful eating - especially in the early stages of loosing.
Happy to provide any support I can - Donna0
