Paying Attention to Your Intentions

Heading into week 2 of the Intentional Eating Healthy Habit, I first want to say that, as leaders, we welcome all feedback. Your kudos inspire us to carry on, and the other kind of feedback causes us to stop and think.
Some members thought "Deviating from the plan even a tiny bit = 0." was probably not the best scoring option for a few different reasons. I pondered those reasons, discussed the issues with the other OALs, and decided to leave it as it is with some suggestions of solutions to the main complaints.
1. I don't plan all the meals: The obvious solution is to discuss the meal with the person who plans/cooks it. If that doesn't work, plan your serving sizes and portions. For example, Plan to eat 3 ounces of protein, one starch serving, etc.
2. What if I'm not hungry when it's time to eat the planned snack? If the snack doesn't affect my nutrient range for the day, then the intention is not to eat it.
3. Mindful eating is intentional eating: Everyone is entitled to their opinion. The purpose of this Healthy Habit was to understand the difference between mindfulness and intention and share some thoughts and ideas to practice intention in our food habits.
If every challenge was easy, what's the point of having them?

I used your idea already, figuring that comes the closest to being mindful or intentional in your eating. It is good to have us work at our challenges, easy doesn't get you anywhere.2

Thank you @Ceriusly1 for all the time and effort you have put into the Intentional Eating HH and coming up with solutions to the main complaints. This was all done while dealing with personal family issues and that is a testament to your dedication and loyalty to the well-being of the challengers. I absolutely agree with your statementIf every challenge was easy, what's the point of having them?1

A Challenge is what it is a challenge.
