Christmas Eve was really nice, spent with my DW and daughter. Lots of nice gifts. There are no points in Gluhwein, amaretto or pizzelles during the holidays, are there?

    A lovely day that was completely unexpected. Our daughter and her intended flew in from Atlanta unexpectedly in order to keep us from being alone after my surgery. We had a holiday breakfast (home made sticky buns) and then took a walk around colonial Williamsburg for a couple of hours which was a big increase in activity since I got home from Hospital, then we had a dinner out and spent the rest of the evening playing board games, It was nice. At 7PM there was a conference call with the whole family (about 15 of us) so our cousin could read 'Twas the night before Christmas" to all of us its a family tradition! So far I am the only one awake in our house at 6:15 AM but I expect that to change in the next 90 minutes or so. Then the rest of the day begins
