Got some work done yesterday plus errands, then some chores around the house. Only thing left to do this morning is laundry which is started and then I can get up to my desk and get work done the rest of the day. Mile and a half on the treadmill first thing this morning.

I made the best air-fried tofu last night that I threw into an atoria wrap with lots of lettuce and some Good Foods tzatziki. Delicious.

Made another batch of starch blaster on Thursday which should last me through tomorrow. This one turned out better than the first one. I think it will get better each time as I get more experience with the instant pot and how much liquid is needed for different ingredients, etc.

Scored big bags of frozen blueberries, spinach and kale, and broccoli at the wholesale club. I dislike frozen veggies just to heat and eat, but in stews and soups they are great and so easy.

So happy it finally arrived...and I have amazon prime. Should never have taken so long.

I love that calendar...so many apply to me and to others in the office. I make a smaller image and attach to the daily schedule for the managers. Sometimes I have to toss one away...maybe a tad off color for the workplace.

Also, when a day totally fits a co-worker, I give it to them. Lots of peeps have them on display on their desks. Me too...I have the front of the calendar ... I will take a picture next time I am at work.

    Today

    coffee
    matzoh brei
    bean burrito
gardein burger with LTO on ezekiel
    steamed spinach
    tea

    Have a great sunday everyone.

Hi all, another busy day but I actually got out a little after 5:00. I was tired and wanted to get home to make another batch of starch blaster since I used up the last one for lunch. Going to bed early.

I'm 7 out of 7 days of over 5k steps. One day was over 9k. I am happy as long as I get at least 5k though.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that I dug out my sprouter and have broccoli sprouts going. Should be ready to eat by Thursday or Friday. I used to do that all the time but put it away some years ago and totally forgot about it. Came across it, ordered some seeds, and going to start doing that regularly again.

Still busy days and one of the gals has been off sick for two days so that doesn't help. Eating the starch blaster, oats, salads, hitting the treadmill every morning. Gotta keep on keepin' on!

Well done on no spending, Nanc!

My back has been hurty so I went to see the doc this morning and need to start on some meds for a while. Hopefully that will fix me up.

I skipped the treadmill this morning because I was running late. I'll get it done tonight before bed because I don't want to break my streak.

Sorry bout the back situation, M. Any chance it is related to your treadmill workout? Regardless, hope it gets better quickly.

    bean burrito
    cantaloupe
    spaghetti
    steamed spinach
    homemade soy yogurt

Nanc, I think the treadmill is keeping it from getting worse. It's sitting 10+ hours a day working that is killing me.

Speaking of... heading to the office both today and tomorrow. I'm just buried. I felt like maybe we were making some progress but turns out I was delusional.

I like having the starch blaster though. I don't think much about food now just make a batch of that twice a week and lunches are done. Breakfast has been ezekiel toast or oats, dinners have been either more starch blaster and/or throw some potatoes in the air fryer, and usually a salad. Gotta love simple.

Nice job keeping up with the treadmill, Mihani.

I have a sore back and neck right now. I think it is from warping and threading my loom. I have a little loom with a scarf in progress and I'm getting ready to use the medium loom to make up some freeform fabric.

I'm giving the recently completed scarf to my mom so I'll have to take some photos of it before I gift it. Here is a photo of the now completed scarf when it was on the loom.

LOL... she's gone into the creative vortex again. The scarf is beautiful! I love the colors and just the one stripe of blue really pops.

Got home a little bit ago and started laundry and have a starch blaster in the works. I read a tip to boil water first to add to the instant pot so it takes less time to come to pressure. Seems to work although I don't have enough experience using it before I read that tip to know for sure. I have an electric kettle that boils water in a jiffy.

I decided to go more beany with this one. I may have got carried away with ingredients and hope it cooks up okay. I am really having fun just throwing things in the instant pot and seeing what happens. So far I've made 3 starch blasters. The first one was a bit meh but the second and third ones were yummy.

It warmed up here for a couple days but supposed to get bitter cold again. Is it too early to start wishing for spring?
